As an actress and a producer I feel proud to be a founder in WICinema as we have combined art with rewarding social responsibility. I request your support in telling your friends and loved one to join the club. Join the WICinema DVD Film Club and be part of a movement that is sweeping the country.
As an added benefit, allow us to promote you and your film on our website, and bring our members a behind-the-scenes view. Women’s Independent Cinema respects the craft of filmmaking and appreciates the energy and diligence it takes to make a dream become reality. Resources to get you started:Profile of Jennifer Siebel

When I graduated from business school and moved to Hollywood to pursue a career in the arts I found myself, once again, in a state of culture shock. The entertainment industry has created such an unhealthy environment for women, an environment focused almost completely on looks, age, and sex appeal. I was and am saddened to see the disempowerment many actresses, writers, directors, and producers in Los Angeles experience simply because of their gender. I have personally seen this power dynamic at work all over the world and felt I had to do something to fight it in this industry in particular, given its incredible impact on the world. I have always been committed to supporting passionate, strong, real women — women who know how to be feminine, professional, compassionate, and confident all at once. I helped found Women's Independent Cinema because their mission is, in many ways, my mission: to help women from all walks of life all around the world to share their stories with each other. I am grateful that our organization exists, and proud to support the female filmmakers and storytellers who are not only telling those stories that our most important to them but are doing so with the grace, power, and dignity they deserve.
