We are the catalyst for life changing films in the home entertainment market. Submission is free for all types of films. You may submit either online (through our partner Without A Box) or by post.

We source independent films created or co-created by women in any of the following categories: director, producer, cinematographer, writer, editor and composer.

You hereby submit your film to be considered for selection by The Women’s Independent Cinema. By doing so you release and discharge The Women’s Independent Cinema from all future claims arising from the submission. You acknowledge that upon selection and completion of The Women’s Independent Cinema's long form license agreement, The Women’s Independent Cinema may make the film available to its consumers in the United States and Canada.

You acknowledge that the Women’s Independent Cinema Film Advisory Board has sole discretion as to whether to select your film and may, at any time, refuse your film if the clearances were not obtained. You understand that The Women’s Independent Cinema reviews numerous movies per year and that The Women’s Independent Cinema in its sole discretion may choose a similar film in theme and style to your film. If this happens, you will have no actionable claim against The Women’s Independent Cinema.

All material submitted must be deemed approved and clear for use. In submitting the film to The Women’s Independent Cinema you represent, warrant and ensure that you are the owner of and have all necessary legal and equitable rights to the film throughout the world; the film is a wholly original work; and you have completed and obtained all necessary clearances, copyrights, clips, music licenses, consent and releases, (including, but not limited to, third party material appearing in film e.g. posters, products and sources of information e.g. newspapers, magazines, transcripts) life story rights, authorizations, and that your film does not violate the rights of any individual person or entity.

You release The Women’s Independent Cinema from any and all liability for loss or other damage to the copies of all material submitted hereunder and understand that The Women’s Independent Cinema is under no obligation to return any submitted materials.
