Description:
Tackle Box (2004)
An elderly couple has fished the Lowcountry waters for decades. When they are separated by death, the story turns on the strange and lingering effect of the old woman's passion for fishing, a love so powerful that it ultimately leads a group of thrill-seeking losers to a peculiar redemption.

About the Producer:
Maria White-Mebane — Producer and Actor
Maria holds a BA in Art from Winthrop University. Although she enjoys acting and the filmmaking process, her first and foremost love is creating ceramic art. She balances the two currently and has worked on such productions as Charlie's Angels – Full Throttle and the television show Crossing Jordan.
Maria's artwork has appeared in Tackle Box and NBC's Friends. Tackle Box is the first film where Maria has served as both a producer and an actor. Maria is married to Matthew and is the niece of poet Patti White, who wrote the poem Tackle Box.
